From an energy perspective, DS_PERFORMANCE is the best 86 mm depth window profile ever to exist on the market. It boasts thermal insulation values (Uf) in line with the standard for passive houses, reaching up to 0.85 W/m²K, resulting in savings on heating costs.
Its exceptional properties meet previously unattainable static requirements, translating into windows with slim lines (115 mm architectural depth) that can reach previously prohibitive sizes. PERFORMANCE therefore creates new architectural possibilities, as it is the first profile with full reinforcement without steel reinforcements, allowing the creation of windows in a variety of shapes.

The DS_PERFORMANCE 86 system for PVC windows with RAU-FIPRO® X features a construction depth of 86 mm with a 7-chamber frame, 6-chamber sash, and the ability to accommodate glass up to 53 mm (double or triple glazing).

The profiles house three co-extruded and weldable sealing gaskets for reliable and durable protection against air and moisture.

The main profiles are made with high-quality REHAU RAU-FIPRO® X PVC: the lead and cadmium-free formulation, compliant with climatic zone S (according to UNI EN 12608), ensures high resistance to aging and atmospheric agents.

The sash/frame system can achieve thermal transmittance values (Uf) as low as 0.75 W/m²K, in accordance with EN 12412-2. The air permeability value, in accordance with DIN EN 12207, is Class 4. The acoustic attenuation value (Rw), depending on the glass and profile, can reach 48 dB, in accordance with ISO 10140-2.

The DS_PERFORMANCE 86 system bears the German quality seal “RAL”, awarded by TÜV. The profiles are produced according to the ISO 9001 quality control system and the ISO 14001 environmental control system. Additionally, the DS_PERFORMANCE 86 system belongs to the REHAU GENEO system family, included in the GBCe materials and sheets platform, facilitating the achievement of Breeam, EPD, and VinylPlus certifications to meet the requirements for Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM).

The windows will be supplied with CE Marking, as required by the EN14351-1 product standard.
