The DS_IDEAL70 system for PVC windows has a construction depth of 70 mm with 5 chambers and the ability to accommodate glass thicknesses up to 41 mm (double glazing).

The profiles can house up to three co-extruded and weldable seals for reliable and long-lasting protection against air and moisture. The main profiles are made from high-quality REHAU RAU-PVC, a lead- and cadmium-free formulation, compliant with the climatic zone S (according to UNI EN 12608), ensuring high resistance to aging and environmental factors. The galvanized steel reinforcements placed inside the profiles are selected according to REHAU’s dimensional limits and the project’s required performance.

The sash/frame system offers thermal transmittance values of Uf up to 1.3 W/m²K in accordance with EN 12412-2. The air permeability value, in accordance with DIN EN 12207, is Class 4. The acoustic insulation value (depending on the glass and profile) Rw can reach up to 45 dB, in accordance with ISO 10140-2. The resistance to forced entry, according to DIN EN 1627, can reach the RC2 security level. All certified values are validated by renowned external laboratories, such as the IFT Rosenheim Institute.

The 70 mm Design system bears the “RAL” quality seal awarded by TÜV. The profiles are produced according to the ISO 9001 quality control system and the ISO 14001 environmental control system. Additionally, the 70 mm Design system is part of the REHAU DESIGN family, included in the GBCe platform for materials and sheets, promoting the achievement of Breeam, EPD, and VinylPlus certifications to meet the requirements of the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM). The windows will be CE marked according to the product standard EN14351-1.
