Sliding window with invisible profiles
The Apexfine window frames are characterized by large sliding glass panels with significantly reduced aluminum profiles. The fixed frames, designed to support the leaf profiles, are invisible because they are hidden behind the side and top jambs, while the bottom frame is integrated into the floor to avoid any ground obstruction. This ensures transparency and a total view of the external environment. Nevertheless, maximum thermal insulation is guaranteed.
The sliding mechanism is achieved through the use of an innovative system patented by Ponzio. The sliding system is integrated into the bottom frame with pairs of stainless steel wheels connected by a pin. These wheels, positioned at a 20 cm spacing and supported by an aluminum profile, ensure high load-bearing capacities and allow the inclusion of very heavy insulating glass panels with tempered, laminated, and/or low-emissivity glass. The water tightness is ensured by a false bottom frame, constructed with a containment tray to collect any infiltrated water, which is then drained to the outside.
The glass panels can be opened manually or through a motorized system, while the closures can be equipped with a fully automatic electro-mechanical system. The system allows the construction of windows with two or more leaves, pocket doors, and corner-opening doors.
The Apexfine windows represent a revolutionary architectural style that fits perfectly in any type of environment. Finally, the different technical solutions allow the installation of Apexfine windows in new constructions or in buildings to be renovated.
Manual closing
The manual closure consists of a grip installed solely inside the Apexfine, made of aluminum elements with some stainless steel parts. The closure features an anti-breakage system that allows its movement, even during opening, preventing damage to the mechanism, which has undergone strict quality tests, withstanding 150,000 opening and closing cycles without showing any damage.
The manual closure has very small dimensions and can be installed even on existing Apexfine windows, as it is integrated into the drag handle. This way, the Apexfine design remains unchanged, with the important advantage of being made of aluminum, thus always matching the Apexfine leaves.
